YURT RESPONSIBILITIES
This yurt is erected for the enjoyment of the public. When you use the yurt, please realize that you assume specific responsibilities regarding maintenance of the yurt. The U.S. Forest Service and the Bear River Outdoor Recreation Alliance (BRORA) Yurt Patrol monitor use of all yurts to ensure compliance with responsibilities. These responsibilities include:
- Leave the yurt as clean or cleaner than you found it. Sweep the floor. Clean Tables, counters, and camping equipment. Shake out sleeping bags.
- Wash all dishes that you use. Store dishes and consumables in containers.
- Replace wood that you use. Leave kindling for the next user group.
- Fuel the lantern and stove before you leave.
- Do not burn plastic in the wood stove. Do not leave non-burnable items in the wood stove. Remove ashes from the stove. Make sure the stove is secure before you leave.
- Remove all trash from the yurt. Leave a clean waste container. Do not throw trash in the pit toilet.
- Please use the pit toilet. Clean up after your pets.
- Tie down the window coverings before you leave.
- Have a great time. Remember that the yurts will remain only as long as we all share in their care.
